The most useful thing you can send us is a real quote.
We read everything that arrives. We cannot promise a reply to every message, and we cannot review your quote individually or tell you which contractor to hire.
If you are reporting a price
Include as much of this as you have. Even a partial report is useful.
- Your state, and the metro area if you are comfortable saying.
- The system quoted and its capacity, in tons, BTU or gallons.
- The total price, and whether it covered permits, refrigerant and removal of the old system.
- Whether the ductwork was reused, repaired or replaced.
- Whether it was a planned replacement or an emergency call.
- The month the quote was given.
Reports are used in aggregate to build the ranges published on this site. We do not publish anyone’s name or address, and we do not pass details to contractors or lead networks.
Corrections
If a figure here is wrong, say so and point to what it should be. Corrections are handled under our editorial policy.
